Richard Parenti has more than thirty-four years of experience with mentors and yoga masters in the science of emotional mastery. He is the author of “Emotional Sobriety: Feel-Good Secrets for Everyone” published by Balboa Press. He is also contributor to Manifesting Magnificence: A Personal Growth Workbook, Serendipity Media Group, 2015. After returning from a 40-day silent retreat in the Himalayan Mountains in India he authored "Naked Before God" and "Your True Self" both of which appeared in Himalayan Path Magazine. In 2007 he was recognized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Northern California for having the ideal yoga class for people with multiple sclerosis.
