I have found that being in nature for me is my quiet, happy place.
It helps me to hone in and listen to the sounds around me.
I take off my shoes and socks and walk on the grass.
When you get into a state of awareness of your physical body, you can then know how you are feeling.
Think about what you are appreciative of.
Go through the alphabet and ponder on your natural setting/suroundings.
Do you hear birds chirping?
Do you feel a slight breeze from the wind?
Are you physically sitting, standing, stretching, meditating?
